Three Chelsea High School Football Players Sign with Division 1 Schools

Berkley Edwards, Michael Steinhauer, and Nathan Bossory participated in "Signing Day" events on Feb. 6.

Three students from Chelsea High School signed commitments to play football at Division 1 colleges on Feb. 6.

According to Chelsea Athletic Director Jeremy Barkey, Berkley Edwards signed with the University of Minnesota. Michael Steinhauer will attend Central Michigan University and Nathan Bossory signed with the Air Force Academy.

A date has been set for the first annual fall sports All-State Recognition Night in Chelsea. Athletes who earned All-State honors for athletic achievement in the fall 2012 will be recognized at half-time of the boys varsity basketball game on Feb. 12.

"Come out to the game and let these special athletes know just how proud of them we are," Barkey said.
