It would be nice if the congressman listened to and represented his constituents rather then the Michigan Chamber of Commerce and the House leadership.

I hope he enjoys it. I will never vote for him again after his votes to push us over the cliff Congress made. Anyone but him going forward. I sincerely regret having voted for him this time.

Actually Mr. Locke, I would say Rep Walberg does not follow the House leadership. In fact, on the recent "fiscal cliff" vote, he voted no, not what the leadership wanted. I worked in his office as an intern in 2011 and I can tell you absolutely, as I saw it in person, he does "listen to and represent his constituents." I know this first hand, I answered the phone and opened the mail. Every single person who contacts his office gets a response if they request one. Regardless of who your congressman is, you simply cannot always get what you want. The staff evaluates the wishes of the majority of the electorate from which s/he is elected, thus representatives do listen. If they don't and do what you suggest Rep. Walberg does, they are voted out. Just like Rep. Schauer was, who held his seat for the 111th Congress.

Tim Walberg is the worst representative in history. Remember when he used to send out those taxpayer funded propaganda flyers with pictures of windmills? Now he sends them out with pictures of seniors. He doesn't care any more about seniors than he cared about windmills. The only thing he is in favor of is Big Pollution.
