Chelsea Police Investigate Credit Card Fraud

The following information was supplied by the Chelsea Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

Chelsea Police responded to a credit card fraud complaint at the 300 block of Fairways Lane on Dec. 18.

According to police records, the complainant stated that he had discovered that three separate fraudulent transactions had recently occurred on his credit card.

On Dec. 19, officers responded to a similiar complaint near the 800 block of Darwin Drive.

According to police records, the complainant told officers that he discovered a large dollar purchase had been made using his debit/credit card from an online retailer.

Both cases remain open pending further investigation.
