READ to Library Dogs

Reading Education Assistance Dogs has been a Chelsea District Library program for more than 8 years. Children read books to our friendly service dogs who listen carefully to every single word! Research has shown that children can improve their reading skills by reading aloud to non-judgmental listeners. Read five times and get a free book. Sign up for a 10-minute slot today at the youth reference desk or by calling 475-8732, ext. 4.
