Santa Claus Making Annual Visit to Chelsea on Friday
Children can meet with the jolly elf at the Chelsea Train Depot at 6 p.m. Nov. 30.
Santa Claus is coming to Chelsea on Nov. 30 for an early visit and photos with local children before his annual visit — in a more discreet fashion, of course — on Christmas Eve.
Santa has a special arrangement with the Chelsea Area Chamber of Commerce, and will meet with little boys and girls at his workshop at the Chelsea Train Depot beginning at 6:30 p.m. Friday.
In addition to Santa’s arrival to kick-off the annual Hometown Holiday festival, a live nativity, a concert, cookie decorating and story telling will also take place.

The annual tree lighting begins at 6 p.m., while cookie decorating and story telling begin at 6:30 p.m.
Santa will arrive at Pierce Park before stopping at the Chelsea Train Depot on Jackson Street from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

The live nativity will take place from 7:30-8:30 p.m. at the Chelsea First United Methodist Church, 128 Park St.
Other events include:
- Cookie decorating at the Chelsea Teddy Bear Company from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
- Story Telling at the Farmer’s Supply, 122 Jackson St., from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
