Faith in Action Hosts Community Dinner on Dec. 25
Residents of Chelsea and Dexter can enjoy a free dinner at Our Savior Lutheran Church on Christmas.
Faith in Action will host its annual community Christmas dinner at 1 p.m. Dec. 25 at Our Savior Lutheran Church.
The dinner is free to residents of Chelsea and Dexter who would enjoy a traditional Christmas dinner, but do not have anyone to celebrate the holiday.
The church is located at 1515 S. Main St., next door to McDonald’s.

"We know that many people celebrate Christmas on an alternate date so there is a need every year for a place for people to gather who might otherwise spend the day alone," Nancy Paul, director of Faith in Action said. "Of course, there are those who simply love a large celebration, and we're lucky to have a spectacular chef, Ken Tony, who takes charge of the cooking and prepares the turkeys and all the fixings."
Faith in Action provides all the food and if they wish, attendees are asked to bring a salad or dessert.
