On Tap: Chelsea Alehouse Microbrewery Opens in December

The business will feature eight different ales, food, and a small cafe for visitors to sample Michigan beer.

Downtown Chelsea will soon be home to a new microbrewery opening its doors at the end of the month.

The Chelsea Alehouse, owned and operated by Grass Lake resident Chris Martinson, is slated to open in a 4,200-square-foot space in downtown Chelsea's Clocktower Complex.

According to Ann Arbor.com, the brewery will have at least eight beers on tap to start, ranging from American cream ale to oak-aged imperial stouts.

The brewery will also include a a deli-style kitchen, outdoor beer garden and venue for live entertainment.
