The group features some of Detroit's most creative and versatile brass musicians, including members of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and the Michigan Opera Theatre Orchestra. The quintet's members have taught at institutions including the University of Michigan, the University of Toledo, Grand Valley State University, and Albion College.

"We love the Motor City Brass Quintet,” said Shawn Personke, director of activities and public relations for Silver Maples. “Not only are they incredible musicians, they are a lot of fun and have a great show. There’s nothing quite like the perfect coupling of brass instruments and holiday music.”
