4 Chelsea Nonprofits Gun for Chase Community Giving Cash on Facebook
Vote now and help four local nonprofits win a slice of the $5 million prize from JP Morgan Chase Bank.
The Chelsea Band Boosters have the chance to share a pot of $5 million in grants through the Chase Community Giving Program.
The boosters are one of thousands of organizations across the country in the running to benefit from the donation program. The number of votes an organization receives determines the amount that will be awarded.
Voting can be done in two ways. Chase customers can vote online at www.chasegiving.com and Facebook users can vote by visiting the Chase Community Giving Facebook page at www.facebook.com/chasecommunitygiving. Voting ends Sept. 19.
The top 196 charities with the most votes will split the $5 million.
Other Chelsea nonprofits competing for a slice of the pie include the Chelsea Aquatic Club, Chelsea Depot Association, Inc., and the Chelsea Grace Clinic, which provides free health care to the uninsured and underinsured of western Washtenaw County.
